Overview
Show-Me Running Company will provide accurate, reliable chip timing for your event. Our custom-made system always includes TWO RFID systems (primary and backup) as well as a manual backup and a video backup. We guarantee results. Complete and division results will be printed for you on-site and uploaded for participants within hours of the event.
Our custom-made all-weather RFID tags are easy to wear attached to your shoe laces and we do not charge you or the participant for lost or damaged chips. We also allow the participant to return the chips at their convenience after the race (usually at our results kiosk). Nobody likes standing around while a volunteer cuts off their chip.
Besides timing the race, we offer many other services FREE OF CHARGE:
- Bibs. (you are welcome to provide your own custom bibs at your cost)
- Finish line photo! We will upload the photo online and provide you and the participant a link to download for free!
- Finish line video! Our all-weather video camera will record every finisher.
- Online event registration and results. Using Run Sign Up participants can register, view their results, and see their finish line photo and video.
- Paperless Race Day Registraion
- Live Streaming Online Results
- Email notifications. After the event, finishers will be sent a link to see their results, finish line photos and video. We can also send pre-race announcements to all registered participants for you.
- Instant results! Finishers will see their name and time on a large flat screen tv when they cross the finish line.
- Results kiosk. (space and power limitations may affect our ability to provide a results kiosk). Participants can instantly print their results (time, pace, rank, etc.) on a label that they can stick in their training log.
Cost
For a traditional 5K or 10K our fee is $2 per runner with a minimum of $500 dollars. For events longer than 10K or multiple events an additional flat fee of $250 will be added to the per runner cost. Ultramarathons or events lasting longer than 8 hours may result in additional fees, negotiable on a case-by-case basis. Races not using Run Sign Up for registration are subject to a one-time $100 fee.
For a High School or Middle School Cross Country Meet our fee is $200 per race. Ex. Boys Varsity, Girls Varsity, Boys & Girls Combined JV would be $600.
